Welcome to backgardenbeer

Crafting quality beer from our garden to your glass.

Craft Brewery

Our passion for home brewing has led us to the development of a microbrewery in our back garden. This is a work in progress as we build our recipe base from which to brew in our opinion some of the best IPA's, pales and other great beers. We use only the finest ingredients to craft our unique and delicious beers. Checkout the project page for news of the build.

Beerathon 24

I can't believe it's the 4th year of our back garden beer festival with Beerathon24 on the horizon. The festival is still a private invitation only event until we manage to find somewhere daft enough to let us use a bigger space, one day, you never know.

29th June

Below are the instructions for the day

Start Time Roughly 2pm

The side gate will be open

You are welcome to bring any other drinks you like, but we'll have in the region of 300 pints to get through so you probably don't need to bring anything else, if you don't like beer, we have tap water!

BBQ by Kamado Joe - planning a big smokey brisket then burgers for later, for the none meat eaters, I can BBQ a lettuce.

Pictures will be taken throughout the day and posted on here for all to see, so if you don't like having your picture taken, you probably need to hide your face or wear a mask, you have been warned.

One Day

The dream is to develop this idea and scale up to a business offering our beers to you via an online store and have them delivered straight to your doorstep. We are somewhat far away from that dream, but keep an eye on the site to see how we develop.

Cheers to great beer, good friends, and unforgettable experiences.
